With the National Denboree coming up we thought it would be fun to get to know our Meerkats around the country! What is your Den’s Meerkat called and what is their story?
“Gutentag, meine name is Ghartjie, goeieday ek is Ghartjie, hi my name is Ghartjie and I am a Sea Scout Meerkat! I was born in Germany. One day I saw the 1st Algoa Sea Scouts’ Den Scouter Caroline and fell in love with her excitement and passion for Scouting. I decided to emigrate with her to the Algoa Sea Scout Den where I get to see my new family of Meerkats grow and have fun every week!”
